- Q: Do you have any regrets moving to Central Oregon?
- A: Yes just one: we didn’t move here earlier.
- Q: Do you have problems handling the winters?
- A: Since I have moved to Bend I have always welcomed winter. I love the change of seasons so winter is just one of the changes. Sometimes winter seems to go on and on and I just make the best of it.
- Q: What do you like best about Bend?
- A: I can sum up Bend’s character with an experience I had the first week I moved here. I went to the post office and first was pleased to see no bullet proof cages for the postal employees and then when I was told I needed a penny more for postage the clerk smiled and said I have a stamp here for you. The people in Central Oregon are all friendly, polite , incredible talented and there are so many volunteers.
- Q: Which restaurant do you like the best?
- A: You can always depend on Zydeco & Antelope Grill for a great dining experience every time. My husband and I try all the restaurants so if you want a recommendation give me a call or send me an e-mail. Some neighborhood restaurants you might like to try are 10 Barrel, Croutons, McKays Cottage and check out Awbrey Glen’s restaurant in the summer for lunch on the patio.
